Oxbow Paddle

Join us for an event like no other! What began as a handful of outdoor
enthusiasts wanting to paddle the distance of False River, has turned into
an annual event, attracting over 75 people!
The event begins at 9:30 with vessel dropoff at the SandBar and a 10:00 bus
departure from The Landing, where the finish party is hosted, that will bring
you back to the start. At 11:45, paddlers take off across the river to "Bueche's
Bar and Grill" for refreshments and lunch, then continue north and crossing
the river at mile 5 to the "Pelican Yacht Club." After hydrating here, we
continue the last four miles to celebrate right next door to the FRPC Paddle
Shack at The Landing, where you'll receive a finishers glass and endless
$2 draft beer!
